As long as you have rights to put an audio stream in the land you want it on, you can do so easily:

- Pick a station from the list below.
- Click ON the land, or use your menu (I'm on Replex, it's under World) to find "About Land".
- A box will open, pictured above. Choose the "Audio" tab.
- Copy and paste the URL of the station you chose in the top line (Audio RL). It starts with "http", no quotes.
- Close the box.
- Turn on music if you want to listen yourself. Anyone coming to visit the land will hear that station if they have their music turned on! (Usually you can turn on music by clicking the "Play" arrow next to notes in your GUI - Graphic User Interface - of your viewer. You can probably just see mine in the bottom right. Ish.)

How to make a SLURL/CURL
"What's a CURL?" I hear you ask? You did, didn't you? Let's start with a SLURL. A SLURL is an acronym for Second Life Uniform Resource Locator - it is basically an internet address that you can put into your chat bar and then click on to teleport to that location. So a CURL is a Canadian Uniform Resource Locator - because we are NOT in Second Life. It's not "official", but I sure want it to be, so let's get using it, people! Anyway, you need to know how to make them. Why? So that you can put them on your websites as I have done - or in your social media or even in your notices in addition to an attached landmark. They are very useful.
First the really bad news. CURLS CANNOT BE CREATED, NOR WILL GENUINE CURLS WORK, IN FIRESTORM VIEWER. When you teleport, you will get a "hop" in chat. It's not a CURL. It doesn't work in anything, even Firestorm itself. The only way to get around the GCG in Firestorm is to be teleported or have the Landmark for where you are going. It's how it is. Sorry. If you find different, mail me and we will celebrate together and you can tell me HOW they work. To my knowledge, CURLS work in Replex and Singularity (not sure about the other viewers, didn't have time to test them all!) and can be generated from these viewers. You can take a "hop" and turn it into a CURL, though. See below. You still can't use it in Firestorm, though.
It has come to my attention the people are having some trouble making them here in the Great Canadian Grid. Believe it or not, it's really easy to both make one and use one you pick up. Here's how.
Making a CURL
Making a CURL from a "Hop"
There is a very distinct format to a CURL. If you know the format, then you can take your Firestorm-generated hop and turn it into a CURL and use that to post in notices and chat, but remember that anyone on Firestorm still can't use it. Others can, though, so you may like to know how to make one from your "hop".
Using a CURL
Some people don't know how to use these addresses inworld. Never fear, it's easy! I made a video so you can see how to do it. I know some of you will feel this is basic stuff, but actually, it isn't. We all learn different things at different rates, so this will help those befuddled by all the CURLs on this site!

Making a CURL
- Go to the exact location where you want to make your CURL (please note that if your region has a set Landing Zone, the user of the CURL will still arrive at the Landing Zone and not the destination you picked, however, if they have their beacon activated, they will be able to see where you are in that region and follow the arrow).
- Open your map (see above).
- Click on "Copy SLURL to clipboard".
- Paste the CURL where you want it (although it says SLURL - the map will produce an address that works in the GCG.)

hop://login.greatcanadiangrid.ca:8002/Euroma%20NW/108/144/23 - You need to change some parts of this to make it a CURL. Always the same parts, and always with the same text!
- Change "hop" to "https" (no quotes in either case)
- Change "logingreatcanadiangrid.ca:8002" to "gcg/region" (no quotes in either case).
- Your end result - using the above "hop" as a example, would be
https://gcg/region/Euroma%20NW/108/144/23 - That's your CURL! (Yes, I tested it in Singularity and it works.)

How to buy land (using other methods than PayPal)
Some people would love to buy land with the GCG, but don't want to use PayPal. Well, never fear, you can do so. Thanks go to Chris Namaste for laying out the method step-by-step to help those that want to do this, and for supplying the screenshots below. Thank you, Chris!
1. Go to the GCG official website where you can see the page and tab below (see my pointer) :
1. Go to the GCG official website where you can see the page and tab below (see my pointer) :
2. Here you can choose the region name that you would like. I just filled in something as an example
to show you under "Region Name & Estate Name" and under "Region Owner Full Avatar Name". See it ? :)

3. Here is a close-up, so you can see clearly what to do. "Add to Cart" once you've filled it in.
4. Here is the "Add to Cart" zoomed in, where you click to continue.
5. After you've clicked "Add to Cart" a new page opens - "Your Shopping Cart".
FOR PEOPLE WHO DO NOT WANT OR WISH TO USE PAYPAL : this is what follows -
NOT using paypal : click CHECK OUT. See the pointer above? Click there.
6. And here are ALL the other ways to pay. Yay! So now you can fill your card and have the land you want at The GCG!
