Realms of Alardania
What can you say about a collection of forty-five regions? Realms of Alardania is monumentally huge, and offers an incredible landscape for role play, which is better seen than described. There are rules if you decide to enter, and appropriate garb is required, although if that's a concern for you, it needn't be as there are free (and nice) outfits available. The regions also operate a meter system (Unity) and you can pick up a free meter and bow at the OOC (Out Of Character) landing area.

Isle of Avalon and Tir na nÓg
This charming medieval style region is open to the public and makes a fascinating place to look around. Here's what the owners, Langalf Raymaker, Saphira Mistwalker and Mariposa Llewellyn, say about it.
The Story of Avalon
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Avalon is intrinsically linked to the story of King Arthur, and to the legends and myths of the Celtic peoples of the British Isles. The name Avalon derives from the Welsh for "apple". One of the suggested locations of the "real" Isle of Avalon was Bardsey Isle (Ynys Enlli) off the coast of Wales, which to this day hosts a unique variety of apple. We have chosen to base our Isle of Avalon (loosely) on the geography of Bardsey Isle.
We have also chosen to adhere to the Celtic view of the "Fair Folk" or Faeries. Here history and legend interact. It is likely the Tuatha de Danaan (people of the goddess Danu) or, as they were later known, the aes sidhe (people of the mounds) were a race driven into hiding by the arriving Celts. They were not the elves of Norse or German mythology, nor were they always the winged Fairies of Victorian England. They were often depicted as human in appearance--tall, handsome and richly dressed. Their interactions with mortals might be beneficial or harmful, but always tinged by the fact they were driven from their lands to take up residence in the mounds, or lonely forests or on the mythical island of Tír na nÓg (land of youth) in the West.
When the dying King Arthur was brought to Avalon, there was still much interaction between the Sidhe and mortals. Many of the people of Avalon were intermarried with them and skilled in their magics. Merlin the Magician is said to have been placed in an enchanted sleep in the Castle of Glass (Caer Wydr) on Avalon, surrounded by the Thirteen Treasures of the Isle of Britain (Tri Thlws ar Ddeg Ynys Prydain). Avalon was ruled by nine queens, the eldest of which was Morgan le Fay.
The Isle of Avalon as we are creating it lies many centuries removed from Arthur, but the old ways still hold sway and Tír na nÓg is within sight and interaction.

River Lands Medieval Community
In an age where humans existed with elves and elves existed with dwarves and various other fantastical races, there existed the prosperous port city of Cheshire, a thriving human township settled upon the foremost western coast of River City. This is where you will begin when you visit the River Lands Medieval Fantasy Roleplay Community. Cheshire faces the Sea of Rivers, and a day's sail through those misty and often roiling seas brings you to Woodland Realm, home of the elves. Or if you sail due northwest, you will discover the misty mountains where Lothlorien, the home of Galadriel, lies hidden.
North of River City lies the Citadel, a walled medieval city whose streets are well guarded by the soldiers and knights of the lands. When you leave the eastern gates of Cheshire, you will pass through sumptuous forests and cross vast rivers as you journey further eastward toward the mountains and the quiet elven city of Calenhad which lies buried atop mountains.
If you dare travel northeast, and it is advised you do not, you will enter the Shadow Lands, a dark, forboding land wherein lies buried deep within the mountain and caves, the Underdark where only evil can pass safely.
To the south lies Hobbit Shire, home of the hobbits, and its beautiful seas, enriched with mer and sirens.
The River Lands Medieval Fantasy Roleplay Community is thriving and active and waiting for you. Medieval attire is required to roam the lands. It is free at the arrival point. All are welcome whether to visit or to become a member and be a part of this rich roleplay environment. You can learn more about our community at http://jaekob.blogspot.com/

Albion
"Fair Albion, let he who reads,
Be shown your magick and mystery,
Delight in your people and their deeds,
Find joy in all that he may see.
And let him choose a noble quest,
With treasure and laurels at its close,
And should he fail, then save his soul,
His body's good eating for the crows."
Welcome to Albion! Somewhere in The Great Canadian Grid lies a land that is forever England. Ish. Albion is the oldest known name for the British Isles (interestingly, one of the names originally suggested for Canada was "New Albion"). Here you will find magick, mystery, great views, cool cuddle spots, a massive and quirky castle... and the unique flourishes that only someone with a mind such as Albion's Queen (self-styled, self-serving and seriously nuts) could come up with.
Wander the land and find some hidden treasures, for some places will never be seen in any pictures or videos, you'll simply have to discover them for yourself. One excellent way to explore Albion and its varying delights is to undertake one (or both) of the noble quests mentioned in the poem. Choose from the imaginatively titled "Ye Quest Most Easy" or the equally snappily-titled "Ye Quest Most Hard". Undertaking either will take you all over the region and both offer prizes. Those who complete the quests will also be added to the Honour Roll if they so choose.
There's also shopping (more shops to come), toilets (what other region provides these, huh?) and a completely out-of-this-world theatre* (*that's the English spelling, you're in England now, remember?), dedicated to the memory of Sir Terry Pratchett, O.B.E. and R.I.P.
Still not sure it's for you? How about a video so you can see similar images, but moving and with music? Wow! Let's do that, then!
